So you guys are all probably wondering if we fell off the face of the earth or something. We just want to let ya’ll know we’re fine and we’re finally back to blogging! Yay!
July 26 was a big day for us with the wedding of Julina & Jay. Julina’s attention to detail was incredible and everything went off without a hitch. Julina is one of the sweetest brides you could ever meet and every part of the day just had her name written all over it. She and Jay chose to do a “First Glance” meeting before the ceremony, and it was one of the highlights of the day for us. Not only are these two easy to photograph, but they have such a fun relationship. They understand each other completely. After that, we met back up with the rest of the crew at the Courthouse where the ceremony as well as the reception took place. We even got the surprise of seeing their his-&-her cocker spaniels, Daisy and Dickson, walk down the aisle during the ceremony! Anyway, enough talk, onto the product…
Since she and Jay are so close in height, Julina chose to wear these awesome ballet slippers and had them dyed green to match her bridesmaids dresses. Aren’t they great?
Jay is a sports fanatic and even has a Browns themed car to prove it. I wonder if the stadium being right behind the Courthouse had anything to do with the decision to have the wedding there. Hmm….
He was pretty much happy all day long. You would have thought he was marrying his best friend or something… 😉
I love how soft and feminine she is. And of course I love reflections!
The First Glance…
Now, back to working to with us! I think it was about this time that we discovered that we all love The Office (best show ever), which took care of the funny quotes for the rest of the day!
Hi, my name is Rachel and I love cathedral veils.
Jay works that GQ face!
Quick break for details before bringing out the party.
The most important member of the bridal party: Daisy Sabo.
Did I mention that I love cathedral veils?
On to the ceremony!
My shot, Ted’s idea for the end of the night shot. This one is done with very minimal enhancements in Photoshop. I love it when I can say that!
Stay tuned for the numerous other posts that we are way behind on coming in the next few days!
