As promised, we are proud to present some wedding images from Rachael and Josiah’s wedding day from this past December. These guys have been the best clients any photographer can ever hope for, laid back and relaxed, and willing do anything for some beautiful imagery! They got married at Windows on the River, and we ended up doing most of the photos at the Hyatt Arcade in downtown Cleveland. Despite the cold tempeatures and falling snow, we even managed to head outside for a few scenes as well! As I mentioned in thier engagement post, Rachael and I attended high school together back in the day, and it was nice seeing a ton of people at the reception that I haven’t seen in a quite a few years. Thanks again guys for such an awesome wedding day, we had a great time spending it with you!

This was a candid portrait of Rachael, but I really love it. I think it captures her personality so well!
I’ve you’ve ever read the blog before, you’ll know we are huge fans of doing what we like to call a First Glance. Wedding photography is huge investment for any couple, and we love sharing ways that will really enhance the experience and maximize that investment to its fullest. While it may not be for everyone, it is a great way to secure a ton of time for your wedding imagery, and is especially effective for couples choosing to have their ceremony and reception at the same location. This was true for Rachael and Josiah’s day, and doing a first glance not only allowed us a few hours for creative photo time, it allowed the family formals to be done prior to the ceremony as well. Of course, the series of images we get from the First Glance always rock!

Liga Mullins - The image of the couple crossing the street in the snow is just beautiful. I think it could easily place in a print contest. Thank you for sharing!
