Tony & Katie’s Brecksville Engagement Session

It was a clear but cold February day here when we met up with Katie and Tony at the Brecksville Metroparks. They thought they weren’t good in front of the camera but we proved them wrong, and they braved the weather like old pros!  Throughout the afternoon, it was easy to see that Katie and Tony were not only in love but best friends as well.  Their easy exchanges and playful demeanor made easy work for us that day.

The Brecksville metroparks is a great location for photos because it offers several different backdrops within a short walking distance – the tall grass, the rocky “beach” the weathered barn and even the bare trees offered a striking contrast against the gorgeous blue sky that day.

We think Katie looks especially great in the images on the rocks – her monochromatic outfit of dark sweater and jeans draws out her lean frame and makes her legs look great!  Tony’s choice of a lighter colored shirt with jeans makes for a nice pairing between the two of them, they both complement the muted tones of the scenery and that makes for some great images. Always keep in mind your setting when choosing outfits so that your images have a softer, unified appearance!
