Manuel & Elizabeth’s downtown Columbus wedding

Manuel and Elizabeth are another awesome Linczak couple whose fantastic images garnered the album of the year award, among others, at the Spring 2012  Professional Photographers of Ohio competition. We were excited when they opted to do First Glance wedding pictures before the ceremony, captured on the stairs of the Ohio Statehouse in Capitol Square.  The beautiful architecture in Columbus served as the backdrop for many of these award-winning wedding portraits.  Some raindrops fell on our stop at the Ohio Theatre which Elizabeth had anticipated and prepared for with these adorable clear bubble umbrellas!  They turned out to be a quirky prop for some great rainy wedding day images.  As photographers, we’re always on the lookout for unique sheltered locations in case of rainy days.  Bridges and porticos abound in all cities that are perfect when weather is not cooperating and alleviate the need for sometimes expensive indoor rental fees.  The ceremony at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral was rich with tradition and the reception at Marriott’s Renaissance Downtown Colombus Hotel was equal in elegance.  As a bride, Elizabeth was highly motivated for beautiful pictures and took all of our recommendations to heart including prepping family, friends and the bridal party on what to expect from us throughout the day. The result: award-winning pictures to be treasured for a lifetime!
