A few weeks ago, Rachel and I traveled to Phoenix for the Professional Photographers of America Annual Imaging USA Conference. It’s an incredible week for us to learn from some of the best in the industry, and it allows us to recharge our batteries for the new year. One of the highlights of the conference is the Grand Imaging Awards Ceremony, which recognizes achievement in image excellence from this past years International Print Competition. The IPC is one of the largest print competitions in the world, with around 6,000 entries from not only the United States but around the globe.
In addition to Rachel and I both being awarded silver medals from this years IPC (going 4 for 4 with our competition entries and having one of our wedding albums accepted into the PPA’s Loan Collection), we were thrilled to have been awarded the 2nd place Grand Imaging Award in the Event Album Category for our album of Talla and Faysal’s wedding!
The Grand Imaging Awards are presented to the top 3 entries within each category represented at the IPC (7 total) and showcase some of the best imaging making in the world. We are honored to be a part of this elite group of photographers in our second year of entering the International Print Competition! A huge thanks again to all of our clients which make all of this possible!
